Tags are the term we use to describe the NFC/QR Tags that your staff will Tap or Scan using freshOps Mobile App to Check In & Out of a building to record their Time & Attendance.

freshOps Tags remove the need to rely on GPS as a way to verify Time & Attendance. Issues with GPS Onlye are;

  • In Urban Environments GPS can bounce off buildings giving false locations.

  • The accuracy of GPS devices on cleaners phones varies greatly. so a large geofence is required to support even the cheapest of cleaners devices.

  • Applications can also be downloaded from the App Stores that can mock cleaners locations these days as well

It was these issues that led to the creation of freshOps. To develop an ungameable and indisputable time and attendance record.

All freshOps Tags have a QR Code printed on the front face, and an NFC Chip inside the Tag itself.

This enables many different smartphone devices to securely report Time & Attendance Records. Regardless of their hardware or operating system.

We suggest these tags are placed on an the door or near the entry to a clients Clients Site.

Either on the front glass, a timber door, concrete panel, next to the alarm panel, basically as close to the entry point to the facility as possible.

If you require the tag to be placed on a metal surface, you'll need to request a Special Ferrite Backed Tag that includes a ferrite backing that eliminates an interference between the NFC and the Metal surface.
