To help you record why a shift is outside the scheduled hours, we've added shift comments.
Your team isn't perfect and stuff always comes up, so whether you are a business owner or part of a team, it's important to record why a shift was outside the acceptable scheduled range.
If the actual hours are outside the schedule hours allowance, so it's highlighted in red, we now surface a comments box when approving that shift.
Once the Comments Box is launched you can simply leave a Comment why the shift is outside the range, whether the Employee was well under the expected times or over.
The comments box only launches for shifts outside the range.
Leaving a comment isn't mandatory, you can just click Approve without leaving a comment.
The comments will now be recorded against that shift forever.
